Set in the village of Inch Marlow, Long Breeze Villa is well positioned for windsurfing and kitesurfing being a 2 minute walk to Long Beach and close to Silver Sands beach but it is also a good base for independent travellers who want to explore Barbados but don’t feel the need to be on the busy West Coast or in the thick of the action on the South Coast. Only 15 minutes from Grantley Adams airport you can be relaxing on the deck or be taking a swim in the Villa pool in 30 minutes of landing!

Sports & Recreation

The closest strip of sand is a small cove just five minutes walk away from the villa which provides for a nice protected swimming area, additionally Silver Sands is twenty minutes on foot or a few minutes by car.

The obvious sports in the area are the wind sports at Silver Sands. Windsurfing world championships have been held at Silver Sands in the past, so the surfing there is advanced (less experienced surfers will find novice and intermediate instruction in the Maxwell area just beyond Oistins). The winds come across-shore between the coastline and the big waves on the reef a mile or so offshore (this is where the windsurfers do their tricks).

Kitesurfing has been in Barbados since early in the millenium and is available through the same outlets on Silver Sands Beach as the windsurfers.

The Barbados Golf Club, a 6805 yard championship course, is just a couple of miles north of Oistins at Durants.
